A love for the youth and the development of their full potential was the primary motivating factor that inspired Founder Mary Lou Allison Gardner Little to organize Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. Our youth today face challenges that could not have been imagined years ago. However such challenges provide the sorority with opportunities to carry on the vision of Little.
Rhoer Clubs are organized, maintained and sponsored by local graduate chapters of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. The Iota Omicron Sigma Rhoer club seeks to guide young women towards leadership and finer womanhood. Enabling them to make valuable contributions to society through their careers and through community service. We encourage our members to high academic standards and lofty career goals, all while preparing them for the challenges of adulthood and teaching them important life skills.

I am excited to be the Rhoer club advisor for the 2020-22 club years.
We genuinely believe in our Motto of Great Service Greater Progress and our current theme of "Setting the Tone for Excellence." By educating our youth, involving them in community service, and encouraging them to pursue their dreams, we can positively impact generations to come and develop future leaders, innovators and scholars.
